Book a Session

SCHEDULING UPDATE: 

 

Unfortunately, my calendar is full and I will not be able to schedule one-on-one sessions for the next few months. I am looking into options that will help me support the healing work of more clients and I hope to be able to provide access to that soon.  These will include new online tools that can be used in tandem with sessions or on their own.

 

My goal is to make this process more effective and more accessible to all people by decreasing the cost, creating new group options, increasing education tools and adding at-home activities, as well as new time slots for scheduling.

What does a session look like?

This work is a combination of belief coaching, subconscious retraining, nervous system regulation and energy work (which changes the way that electricity flows through your nervous system). Each session will focus on retraining your entire system, to better support you in your life.

First Session

First Sessions are 1 hour and 30 minutes (can go over by 5 or 10 minutes) . We will talk through your preparation form material, our focus and the process in the first 15 minutes and then jump in to the transformation work for the remaining 75 minutes.

 

The First Session Form is an important preparation for you and for me - please fill it out before arriving and we will have more time for life-changing work.

 

Another great step, if you have the time, is to read "What to Expect" (see above link) for your session. If you don't have any time for this, then simply show up ready to create change. :)

Regular Session: 90-Minute Session

A normal session is 90 minutes long. This gives us enough time for 15 minutes of processing and planning what we will release and then 75 minutes to connect with the work and go deep enough to have transformational results. Less time tends to be less effective. Please complete the Regular Session Form in preparation.

60-Minute Session

60-minute sessions are typically too short for a regular session. This is the best amount of time for most children and for sessions where you and Ava have already identified all of the details for the session. Please come prepared with a written intention for the session and please complete the Regular Session Form in preparation.

20-Minute Follow-up

20-minute follow-up sessions are perfect for someone who has had a session with me before and would like to talk over the phone about something between sessions.

Sessions for Children

If you are booking for a child, please follow the recommendations below for wonderful results:

Age 0 to 4: In person sessions don't work well and sessions tend to be less effective at this age. If you still want a session, please book a 60 minute phone session and Ava will talk through the session details with you as they are unfolding live.

Age 5 to 10: In-person sessions work well, but attention span is short. Book a 60 minute in-person session.

 

Preparation details: Email or text a message to Ava, listing the issue as well as any negative thoughts, fears and behaviors that are related or contribute to the issue. *You can put this in the "first session prep form" - see link above this section. That way we don't talk about fears in front of your child and make them feel self conscious. Explain to your child that Ava is going to play a game with them that teaches their body to feel lighter and happier and that you are going to be with them the whole time. You will be sitting on a couch in the same room during the session.

Age 11 to 14: In-person sessions work well, and attention span is usually good enough to book a 90 minute in-person session. This gives you more results for the money spent than a 60 minute session, but trust your intuition. If you feel your child won't be able to focus for that long, book a 60 minute session.

Age 15 to 18: In-person sessions work well. Book a 90 minute in-person session. Please see preparation details above to send Ava the needed support for your session to be successful.

Teenagers tend to be shy and hesitant to share their problems with a stranger and often they don't know how to articulate the issue. Please fill me in and so I can help them to feel heard, understood and supported in this healing process without having to ask too many questions (they can easily feel interrogated). To prepare them - explain to your child that Ava is going to have them relax while she works with their dream brain to retrain their mind and body to feel more safe and supported. Tell them it will be a very unique way to feel better, that is not invasive and not like therapy.

 

*Note: Usually teenagers feel much more comfortable without their parents in the room, but this is totally up to what feels best for you.
